Sacrifices of Praise

Beautiful Sunday worship to all.

Hebrews 13:15 Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

This verse from the book of Hebrews is telling us that through Jesus Christ our Lord, we can come to God and offer our sacrifice of praise as an expression of our grateful heart and thankfully remembering the goodness of God in our lives.

What a great joy to know that in prayer we can express boldly our love, our gratitude, our dependency to him, our asking of provision, our asking of help in times of need, our asking of comfort and strength when we are broken, our confession of sins and asking of His forgiveness and our worship.

This is what Jesus did when He died on the cross of Calvary to redeem and restore us to God. He is the way, the truth and the life and no one can come to the Father except by Him. No other name given under heaven but the name of Jesus, that in the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord for the glory of God the Father.

He is our High Priest to God constantly interceding unto God to forgive us and graciously bless us because He paid in full the penalty for our sins.

He is our only Mediator to God and through His righteousness we are completely accepted by God because Jesus clothed us with His own righteous thereby we became righteous in the sight of God. On our own we cannot do that because we fall short of the glory of God.

This is the great reason to rejoice for we were rejected because of the penalty of sins but Christ’s deliverance restored us back to God, He placed us in the right position wherein God can accept us again and have fellowship with Him as His own children. Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!

Father God we want to say thank you for restored fellowship through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. May we continue our walk with you in righteousness. May you renew our evil thoughts and allow us to dwell only in your beautiful plans of success in our lives .Amen.
