Men are called to be children of Light

Man is a protector and not a destroyer of Nature .

Genesis 1 King James Version (KJV)

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

God created the void darkness then He created the light. God said it was good when He created the light. Scientist found out that when God created the light, that was the start of the life form of any living thing on earth. The light instrumented by God to give life in vegetation of the earth and to sustain the life of every living creature.

Man called by God to walk in the light to take care of the whole earth and not to destroy it. Those who do not walk in the light are the one destroying the earth our home. Man should know this call from God so that he will protect his home and promote also the welfare of other living things – fauna and flora.

Do you walk in darkness or in the light? Christians should walk as children of light. Let us protect our home and promote the welfare and the preservation of all living things on earth. The missiologists called this as the cultural mandate of man from God.

The disciples of Jesus are commissioned to share the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, this is their mandate to restore the broken relationship of man to God. At the same time as children of light, they are fulfilling these 2 mandates from God.

Let us redeem the time, The earth is being destroyed by those who are walking in darkness, as being called to walk in the light do our share to protect our home and preserve the welfare of others who share the home with us.
